The event has become an annual rite at the close of the year for a number of Maui’s full-time and part-time musical residents to rock out in Wailea at a fundraiser for the Maui Food Bank and the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.
The Maui Food Bank’s mission is to help the hungry in Maui County by collecting and distributing food through community partnerships. By 2018 we reached 3.2 million meals and as the concert grows, so will the number of people fed. www.mauifoodbank.org
The Maui Arts & Cultural Center is a gathering place where the community can celebrate creativity through personal and shared experiences of the arts. Programs seek to engage and inspire all ages, nurturing excellence through the arts. Contributions support the MACC’s year-round programming including arts education in our schools, free community events, Hawaiian cultural programming, and visual art exhibitions. www.mauiarts.org
